Press Release

PAX has partnered with retail technology solution provider DCS Synthesis, Electronic Cash Register (ECR) specialist Weebo, as well as terminal solution provider JeriPay, to provide an integrated countertop solution to one of Singapore’s largest food court brands, Food Dynasty. Consumers now can enjoy many privileges throughout their food courts with seamless transaction experiences by using Food Dynasty’s in-house prepaid cards on the integrated countertop solution.

PAX E700A is one of PAX’s initial launches of all-in-one integrated smart ECR terminals. Featuring with a high-speed processor and a 12.5” FHD IPS touch screen display as well as the AR6 customizable Android payment module, it provides merchants with a cleaner countertop for their business. Having the payment module directly attached to the ECR terminal also reduces the likelihood of payment failure due to connectivity between devices. Merchants also enjoy a better user experience as few devices have to be managed.

Having recognized the unlimited possibilities of the all-in-one ECR terminal, DCS Synthesis pioneered this terminal trend in Singapore, with the aim of offering their customers a solution that caters to all their needs. Partnering with Weebo and Jeripay, they have implemented an all-in-one solution for Food Dynasty food courts using PAX E700A with the in-house prepaid payment.

In this project, a customized ECR solution was provided by Weebo, an ECR solution specialist. In 2020, Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) presented Weebo as the top Android ECR solution provider in Singapore.

The in-house prepaid payment was implemented by JeriPay, the terminal solution’s provider. Using the RFID technology, they have utilized the capability of the E700A payment module to accept Food Dynasty’s in-house prepaid card, the K2 Gourmet Card, for payment at outlets, including coffeeshops, food courts, canteens and more than 100 stalls throughout Singapore.
